The Berthold Vollers GmbH, the first company of the Vollers Group, was established by Berthold Vollers in Bremen in 1932.
During the initial years of business the company focused on the storage and transportation of raw coffee. Gradually, the
range of products, services and commodities handled expended into today’s scope.
In the course of time other independent members of the Vollers Group were established in Hamburg, Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Antwerp, Riga, Tallinn, Tashkent, Moscow, Klaipėda, Trieste, and the Ivory Coast.
Today, the Vollers Group samples, weighs, mixes, blends and transports various different commodities such as coffee, cocoa, tea, bakery seeds, tobacco, cotton, wool, yarns as well as different general cargos. Warehousing and distribution as well as document processing and customs clearance are also part of the comprehensive range of services.
