Klaipėda

Klaipėda is the most northern ice-free port on the Eastern coast of the Baltic Sea and Lithuania’s biggest and most important harbour. Klaipėda primarily functions as a transport hub connecting sea, land and railway routes from East to West.

The port is located in short distances to major industrial regions in Russia, Belarus and Ukraine.

Since the port is ice-free - even during extremely cold winters - the smooth transit and uninterrupted stevedoring and warehousing operations are guaranteed.

As the port of Klaipėda is situated at the junction of 3 international transport corridors, it is certainly a bridge between the Commonwealth of Independent States, countries of the Asian region as well as the European Union.
