Operations Manager (m/f/d)

In this leadership role, you will report directly to the Managing Director and assume overall responsibility for the Operations division. Through your continuous improvement initiatives, you will contribute to increasing productivity and the performance of our facilities. As the direct point of contact on-site, you will be available at our facilities within Bremen.
Zadania
- Providing technical and disciplinary leadership to our approximately 50 employees in the coffee operations and workshop departments
- Staff development
- Establishing new management structures within the facilities
- Identifying and implementing opportunities for improvement in production and warehouse logistics with the goal of increasing productivity
- Promoting and ensuring efficient organization within the facilities as well as across facilities, and creating optimal working conditions
- Managing and monitoring cross-facility resource allocation, employee scheduling (job sharing/pooling), and identifying bottlenecks
- Identifying, implementing, and overseeing improvement measures and projects in the area of modernization in collaboration with other departments
- Consistently implementing and further developing Vollers’ digitalization strategy
- Developing KPIs for the operational departments
- Managing the procurement of production materials
- Budget responsibility for the operational department
- Integrating new production sites
- Ensuring and monitoring compliance with quality standards
Wymagania
- Several years of experience managing a production facility or operation, ideally in a logistics setting (manufacturing, freight forwarding, etc.)
- Experience leading and motivating employees
- Entrepreneurial mindset, self-motivation, and a strong commitment to the job
- Proficiency with IT
- Proven track record of improving efficiency in a manufacturing company
- Strong analytical skills and a comprehensive understanding of logistics and inventory management processes (LEAN production)
- High level of assertiveness, dedication, and willingness to perform, as well as excellent communication skills
- Hands-on mentality
- Good command of German; knowledge of English is a plus but not required
