Head of Quality Management

As an experienced logistics partner, we handle the transshipment, transport, customs clearance, storage, and/or processing of our customers' goods, ensuring punctual delivery. We handle the commodities for both small and large companies in industry, manufacturing, and trade.
We are looking for a new family member to support us as Head of Quality Management at our Amsterdam, Westzaan, and Dongen locations.

For this position, we assume you have completed a Food Technology degree, IVK or MVK certification, or alternatively, a QHSE certification. You have an affinity for quality systems such as ISO 9001, FSSC 22000, and GMP+. You are ready for a career in Quality, Health, Safety & Environment and eager to develop into a true QHSE professional.
You have a minimum MBO-4 level of proficiency and are comfortable communicating in Dutch and English, both spoken and written. You are an independent worker, confident, and able to translate theory into practice, and vice versa.If you recognize yourself in the profile above, please read on!
Your tasks
As Head of Quality Management, you'll ensure compliance with safety, health, environmental, and quality regulations and procedures. This includes conducting regular inspections, developing procedures, providing training and information to colleagues, and improving current processes and procedures. You'll visit the three locations weekly for this purpose. As Head of Quality Management, you'll also be responsible for preparing and conducting internal, external, and customer audits, reporting your findings and making recommendations. You'll also assist in developing and implementing the Risk Assessment and Evaluation (RI&E) and the QHSE annual plan. You'll work closely with the Head of Operations and the General Manager.
You will also work closely with colleagues from locations in Belgium, Germany and England on Vollers' joint quality policy.
Your profile
- You have completed a Food Technology degree or an equivalent qualification in Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) management.
- Knowledge of BIO, GMP+, ISO 9001, FSSC 22000, and/or HACCP is a plus.
- You have a proactive work ethic and can work independently.
- Common sense and a down-to-earth approach.
- You are persuasive and have strong communication and administrative skills.
- You hold a category B driver's license.
- You have a good command of Dutch and English.
