Your tasks
- Independent planning, management, and implementation of automation projects
- Programming and commissioning of silo systems and other small logistics-related systems
- Modernization of existing control systems by replacing outdated PLCs with modern Siemens components (TIA Portal, STEP7)
- Close cooperation with plant manufacturers to modernize control cabinets and mechanical plant components
- Development, introduction, and continuous improvement of a company-wide programming standard
- Integration of the plants into existing IT infrastructures, in particular:
- MES system ProLeiT
- ERP systems Microsoft Dynamics AX / D365
- Creation of technical documentation and implementation of training courses for operating and maintenance personnel
- Project coordination and communication with internal and external partners
- Budget responsibility, time and resource planning within projects
- Further development of interfaces between control, MES, and ERP
- Active participation in the strategic further development of the automation landscape
- Communication in German and English (written and spoken)
Your profile
- Degree in electrical engineering, automation technology, or comparable qualification (e.g., state-certified technician, master craftsman)
- Several years of professional experience in PLC programming with Siemens TIA Portal and STEP7
- In-depth knowledge of S7-1500, S7-300/400 and industrial network technology (PROFINET, Ethernet/IP)
- Ideally, experience in silo, conveyor or process engineering
- Experience in connecting automation systems to MES and ERP systems
- Experience in working with external partners and plant manufacturers
- High degree of initiative, organizational skills, and structured approach to work
- Initial experience in project management of automation projects or motivation to develop further in this area
- Very good written and spoken German and good written and spoken English
- Willingness to travel occasionally to the company's European locations
