Working Student in Microsoft Power Platform Development (m/f/d)
We are looking for a working student (m/f/d) in Microsoft Power Platform Development to join our Digital Development Team at the Vollers Group, headquartered in Bremen, as soon as possible. The role is based at our headquarters in Bremen.
From coffee, cocoa and tea to metals – as an experienced logistics company, we transport and store goods and raw materials for our customers at twelve locations across eight European countries, utilising modern digital technologies. In the role of a working student, you will support our team in the design, expansion and maintenance of Microsoft Power Platform applications that automate, digitise and support our business processes. We are particularly looking forward to your support in improving and maintaining existing solutions and deploying new apps/workflows based on requirements, whilst consistently adhering to Vollers’ standards for governance, security and ALM.
Your tasks
- Supporting the development of new Power Platform solutions, including Power Apps (Canvas/model-driven), Power Automate workflows and integrations, and AI functionalities.
- Implementing changes and improvements to existing Power Platform solutions
- Maintaining and documenting new and existing solutions
- Supporting the translation of functional requirements into technical solutions.
- Collaborating with product managers and other developers/IT professionals.
- Testing, troubleshooting, debugging and improving applications
- Ensuring code quality, documentation, maintainability and best practices
Your profile
- Student (m/f/d) in the final stages of an IT development degree
- An interest in learning new things and developing your skills
- Initial practical experience with Power Apps and/or Power Automate or other low-code platforms
- A basic understanding of the fundamentals of Dataverse (tables, relationships, security roles) and/or experience with SharePoint or databases
- Interest in working with integrations and data formats (e.g. connectors, REST basics, JSON) and in learning more about them
- Initial experience with Azure services (e.g. Logic Apps, Functions), SQL, Power BI or Dynamics 365 is desirable
- Basic understanding of CI/CD concepts for Power Platform (pipelines, automated deployments)
- Structured, independent and solution-oriented approach to work
- Very good command of English; knowledge of German is an advantage
- Enrolled student at a university or university of applied sciences
