The Vollers Group is an internationally active logistics company with a focus on the transport and storage of coffee. The Vollers Group looks back on a history of 90 years, over which it has maintained and deepened its enthusiasm and expertise in dealing with coffee. In recent years, the Vollers Group has also specialized in digitalization and the offering of online services for the coffee industry. V-Auction Limited as part of the Vollers Group is looking forward to contributing its passion for coffee to the auction platform and to further expanding it with new approaches. So it remains exciting.
In connection with the sale of the business your personal data has been transferred from Sensible Development Limited (Seller) to V-Auction Limited (Buyer). The auction platform is a B2B-platform, so that it is assumed that your personal data is being processed in connection with your professional use of the auction platform. If you do not consent to the transfer of your personal data, you can request the deletion of your data.
The transfer of your personal data qualifies as data processing in the meaning of the GDPR and we may inform you on this processing activity and your rights in connection therewith as follows:
1) DATA CATEGORIES
Specifically, the following data has been transferred:
• First name, last name, job title, name of the company, addresses of the company, company e-mail address, phone number, mobile number, IP address, encrypted password, last login, last newsletter open activities
2) PURPOSE AND LAWFULNESS OF TRANSFER / PROCESSING
We transferred your personal data in compliance with the GDPR with the purpose to execute the purchase agreement regarding the sale of the business.
The transfer of your personal data is based on Art 6 para 1 lit f GDPR for the purposes of the legitimate interests of Sensible Development Limited and V-Auction Limited. For this purpose a balancing of interests was conducted with the result that the interest of the Sensible Development Limited to sell the business and the interest of the V-Auction Limited to continue operating the business outweighs your interest to have your data not transferred to third parties.
3) NEW CONTROLLER IN THE MEANING OF THE GDPR
The closing of the purchase agreement and the transfer of your personal data results in the change of the controller pursuant to Art 4 No 7 GDPR.
