Bremen, Germany, December 21, 2023 – V-Auction Ltd. as part of the Vollers Group, a Bremen-based logistics company specializing in transport, warehousing and commodity logistics, including coffee, cocoa, tea and metals, has successfully acquired a global online auction platform specialized for coffee (as well as machinery and fundraising) from Sensible Development Limited (in administration).
Vollers Group, with over 90 years of experience in commodities, logistics and warehouse services, is set to infuse its extensive industry knowledge and IT expertise into the newly acquired platform. This venture marks a significant step for Vollers Group, expanding its capabilities to enhance the overall experience for sellers and buyers on the auction platform.
In line with this acquisition, the auction platform will be renamed V-Auction and managed by the Groups subsidiary V-Auction Limited, reflecting Vollers Group's commitment to elevating the platform's services and establishing a new benchmark in the industry. V-Auction aims to become a key player in the digital auction space, offering a seamless and efficient experience for stakeholders in the coffee industry and beyond.

The purchase was carried out by Vollers Group subsidiary V-Auction Limited and comprises of the Goodwill and Business Intellectual Property Rights of Sensible Development Limited (in administration). V-Auction has not assumed any liability of Sensible Development Limited past business activities. The new ownership is dedicated to revitalizing the platform and ensuring its continued success.
