Customs Operations Specialist (m/f/d) - Bremen

(Full-time or part-time – min. 30 hours/week – permanent position – Bremen – with immediate effect)

Do you see yourself as a specialist with strong communication skills in your field and are you also happy to answer external enquiries from customers, authorities and customs?

Then the position of Customs Operations Specialist (m/f/d) at Berthold Vollers GmbH in Bremen in the field of green coffee as well as across teams for other areas (tea, general cargo) is exactly the right challenge for you!

Your tasks

  • Preparation of individual and collective customs declarations, including organic goods
  • Preparation of Intrastat declarations
  • Apply for and maintain customs permits
  • Applying for, maintaining and managing customs warehouses
  • Accompanying the regular audits of the main customs office
  • Contact person for the AC system – updates, master data maintenance and authorisations
  • Internal first contact for all customs-related questions within and outside the team / across teams
  • First contact person / specialist for external (customers / authorities / questions from customs)
  • Independent processing of shipping orders
  • General forwarding activities

Prerequisites

  • Completed commercial training, preferably in the field of forwarding, logistics or foreign trade
  • At least 3 years of experience in customs and export processing
  • Up-to-date and sound specialist knowledge in the field of customs clearance/formalities
  • Further training as a certified customs declarant (m/f/d) is an advantage
  • Knowledge of commercial processing and logistics processes
  • Experienced handling of the common MS-Office products as well as ATLAS/NCTS
  • Independent, responsible, accurate and goal-oriented working style
  • Ability to prioritise and communicate effectively, both internally and externally
  • Sociability, commitment and ability to work in a team
  • Good written and spoken German and English

Backoffice Sales Employee (m/f/d) - Location Bremen

Your tasks

  • National and international communication with managers of the various business areas Coffee, Cocoa, Tea & General Cargo
  • Targeted support for the planning, review and control of group-wide sales activities (sales and budget planning as well as organizational and administrative matters)
  • Control of the offer process, initialization of the regular price rounds as well as their active follow-up and documentation
  • Data maintenance & profitability analyses
  • Researching potential new customers and reworking sales activities
  • Development and support of the CRM system
  • Creation of presentations and statistics
  • Participation in and documentation of cross-location sales calls

Prerequisites

  • You have successfully completed a commercial or higher education or a degree in studies
  • You have a few years of relevant work experience in a similar position
  • Independent and structured way of working as well as a high degree of self-motivation and goal orientation are natural for you
  • Additionally, you are characterized by an analytical mind-set
  • You are used to working across departments and enjoy working closely with our general managers and department managers
  • We assume a fluent command of German and English, both spoken and written
  • Sociability, empathy and excellent communication skills complete your profile
